What–no “mock chivalry”? Aren’t they supposed to attack the hero one at a time, and then he takes them out with a single punch? 😉
I’m loving your strip! Great artwork, pencils, backgrounds. I love the deliberately retro feel of the comic, reminiscent of the Silver Age DC work. I can hear distinct echoes of Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino. You’ve got skills, Mills! And by all means, hat tip to Mr. Gonzalez–only Frazetta can draw a better princess!
Thanks. I’m glad someone sees some Fox in here; Gardner Fox is a big influence on my comics writing. I enjoy his sword & planet novels (set on the planet “Llarn”), too. The man’s imagination knew no bounds.
I’m enjoying this so far, good story and art. I’m curious who these space pirates are, and the new surrounding.
I’m glad you’re diggin’ it. It’s early days yet, and there’s a lot more to come – both about the pirates and this strange new/old world.
