And — that wraps up “Captives Of The Corsair Queen,” Chapter One of the first Perils On Planet X graphic novel… which, as I’m sure you all recall, is titled: “Hawke Of Terra.”
24 weeks without missing an update! Now that Chapter One has concluded, does anyone have comments – or questions – that they’d like to hit us with?
Anyway, I hope you’ve all enjoyed our interplanetary epic so far. We’re taking a very short (two weeks) break between chapters, but don’t worry — Chapter Two, “Flight Into Terror!,” will begin on August 2nd, 2013!

In the early 1960’s the cinema in Petawawa was probably among the last to show serials each Saturday. I know this based on print but it has also taken me back to the days of Captain Marvel and Flash Gordon.

I love the film serials, too. In fact, I’m re-watching the 1936 Flash Gordon serial all this week!
I love this and have told all my ‘sword and planet’ friends.
I’m reading this in 2016, and I know there’s more to come, but little of the planet’s social structure and governments have really been covered, yet. I’m assuming it’s much like ERB’s John Carter of Mars series, but there are bound to be some differences, however slight.
