While it’s unlikely that a complete coward could rise so high within the pirates, wasn’t there something in his bio about him being a bully? Bullies often prefer easy targets. Also, it’s possible that by shooting at Hawke, Reddjac has earned the ire of our favorite pirate queen. It could be interesting if she shoots (literally) Reddjac down for “not getting permission”.
